Monday Midday Movie: Dolores Online
This Hispanic Heritage Month the Malcolm X College Library is featuring works on Dolores Huerta. Huerta is a Civil Rights Icon, founding the Agricultural Workers Association, and the National Farm Workers Association. Huerta is known for breaking down gender barriers and advocating for women's rights, and though her work has been closely associated with Cesar E. Chavez, she stands on her own as an activist and American Hero.
This month's feature Monday Midday Movie is the 2017 documentary, Dolores. Join us as we view the Documentary and discuss CCC Resources. To learn more about Dolores Huerta please visit her website, or check out readings available through CCC libraries on our Virtual Exhibit LibGuide.
